Attics of My Life
Oct. 16, 1989
Meadowlands Arena

Crazy show, capping off a night filled with references to stuff the older generation of heads must have had their jaws agape at this tender Attics
Drums -> Space
Oct. 16, 1989
Meadowlands Arena

Couldn't agree more. This is phenomenal. Completely subsuming the self into the pure aural quality of acoustical experience. notable for seguing into the obscure, but heartfelt Mydland missive to his daughter "I will take you home", the outright sincerity of which is more than slightly unsettling coming out of a positively nutty free jazz Midi space. Nonetheless it's an endearing track.
Playin' In The Band

You'll be seeing stars on this DS -> PITB, both are razor-sharp and positively brimming with raw virtuosity! Autumn '89, the Brent years are at a peak here, and the PITB "big 10" theme is majestically, subtly returning again and again throughout a luminous 2nd set
Uncle John's Band
Oct. 16, 1989
Meadowlands Arena

This whole show is exceptional. Gotta love the rest of the band following Jerry's structural lyric flubs - Hunter never made following his words easy, fwiw!! :-D But anyway, sparkling lush UJB with powerful battering-ram energy into high-spirited improvisation

Yet another rager of an 89 Deal! Super strong
