Activated. Midi horns and sine pads melt from drumz and again to jousting snarls of apathy. Lyrical, seasoned.

Let It Grow
Oct. 29, 1977
Evans Field House, Northern Illinois University

Genuinely really gives me the shakes.... This is a big song. I've been binging a lot of 73-74 gigs recently, and it's shows like this that really show me how much Mickey Hart means to the group. Thunderous rendition with uber Jerry shredding. Bobby's rhythm parts are burning too. I mean everybody is great, really.

The perfect encore for the perfect night, the hired guns for twilight's heartbreak and the eternal songs of the mysteries of morning.

Wow. In one fell swoop, Jerry and the guys imbue the night's proceedings with a sense of steep, and heart-felt pathos. Paisley tom, reporting for duty.
Good Lovin'

Spicy sweet chili taco Bertha shell, and thick rockin' Good lovin' jam fillin'.

12 votes for this? A totally exceptional, radically shreddin' 8-minute Deal. The "36 Deal" as some might say... the energy is a must. Truly a gobsmacking blend of prime raucous end of set 1 energy and kick. A dose of plodding heavy rock after liquidy jazzy let it grow jamming, this one smacks hard with wholloping arcs and cresting soaring peaks
