Jack A Roe
Sept. 29, 1989
Shoreline Amphitheatre
You know the crew is feeling spritely and in a cowboy mood when they play this, blessed frequently in '89 with it.

Sweet, sweet, down-home and yokey Jerry.

The Same Thing
June 11, 1993
Buckeye Lake Music Center
Pigpen cut revived for the 90's with the group in kind of a slow crawling king snake vibe. Vince knows how to lay down some organ. Top late form.

Ramble On Rose
June 18, 1974
Freedom Hall
It's kind of incredible that it seems like they really never got tired of playing this even though at this point they've been playing it every single show for about 2 years straight. It goes to show you that it's a quality song that passes the test of repetition. Plus that one who yells out "JERRY" after the end is totally me all the time
Eyes Of The World
Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium
Cumulostratus violet waves of waterphonic wind and vision in the form of a 77 eyesie. Just smackin and dead on JG is fluttery feathers from heaven down under to us scrounging below.
Deal
Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium
Firey volcano fusion explosion of a 77 deal, relevatory
Jack Straw
Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium
Sweet empathy and compassion for the lost ones on the endless skyline after the work day ends, canteens emptied and the minions are trudging home. Bobby 'n Donna 'll catch 'em up. Again, one of the best Jacks i've heard so far
