Haha, "scary"? nah i get it - The contents of our own minds can be scary and this inner reflection is what to me all the best Dark Stars start to investigate. A benchmark locked-in experience this DS is. Hot hot hot fusion chops fest - you can hear the classic coltrane quartet influence. Tornadoes and icicles, soft flowing streams of sheets of notes. intuitively logical. going into el paso after this must be a nod to Kesey and Babbs, in some way. it's as "heady" a move as u could possibly get
