Can't believe I'm submitting this. Long and fun drum circle that's notable because our Jer Bear whips out a steel pan and joins in.

For a few minutes wembley in '90 becomes the fillmore in the summer of 1970, the way the Dead just slide into a no-nonsense Big River. Shivers

Amazing 90's DS. Takes youa way.
Dark Star
April 24, 1972
Rheinhalle

ok whoa, need to check out the rest of the "Rockin' in the Rhein" show. on the one hand a groove puddle with philly and billy, the other, a lysergic quadrophony. Post-verse playing is as intensely free jazz/noise as they got, surely on this iconic tour at least. amazeballs, freakishly visionary jazziness on this version of dark star, this shit is absolutely staggering, dripping from the golden fountain, ritualistic dreaming. pre-verse is super great playing also
Don't Ease Me In

They Love Each Other

Terrapin Station

everyone turning on and locking like a switch and key during this. Very spicy late 80's gig.
