This one's got it!!! Great, as far as post-pigpen goes... Supported by diehard bobby energy and robustly happy mid 80's glide.

Crowd congeals on this one. Unstoppably creative phil, they go deep into the caverns of cosmic deaad, colombian antics and deluxe goodz.

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad

dreamy GDTRFB with the crystal dreamlike positive feeling and colorful repetition of krautrock. Lesh hart and welnik on a nice acoustic sound line up for jer bear storytelling in the authentic trad structures and forms that hunter's scrapbook pages sometimes aspired to. Burning version and weir is there to bungee jump throughout bouncy yoinkers in Rosebud shred meister shit. Group vocals are uber on throughout "on" playing in 93 btw

15+ mins of space precedes this blue flame, deep-eyed perfecto tornado job that the crew does to refocus the harmonic energy toward bangers and a fittingly bombastic devils send off

heady stuff.... this era is all about attitude and precision, interesting stuff about how each member of the group had his own in-ear monitor sound mix effectively walling themselves off from the audience and each other onstage, a series of disparate and exhausted worlds colliding in ways that were still beautiful and challenging, not to mention harnessing the technology to new aesthetic purposes. Jazzy mournful, wispy they sound great on this version

crystal clear sunshine bust out into this kinda Dawn clear realizing all night trancing rave come up or down mind fry, dig? nah but great postminimalist jazzy avenues from the slow burning voice leading, at least for a 5 minute sesh before a nice box of rain.
