Beefy stetson hat workout. Ravishing harp and fun fender deluxe reverb tones.

Not unheard of to go into this after scarlet fire (34 times) still, something of a wacky pranksterish reset. Speedy and powerful version with growl.

Devils come alive. Joy ride to wirepickin' ecstatic oblivion. Furiously active yet not autobahn, deep 80s

Great one. Kits duet is really inspired. Space curdles out with noise but gets jester's hat nightmare with vocal pranks. Beautiful long bluesy intro

perfect TJ. Jerry's vocal is aggressive and growly, his solo is totally ripping, Keith sounds amazing also. Not to be missed

just sit back and let this take you away. Phenomenal version, one of the all time best. they were definitely on in a cosmological way. One of those mammoth versions that just leaves you with this "what just happened????" feeling.
Uncle John's Band
May 19, 1977
Fox Theatre

Wow. Is there anything this show doesn't have? Jesus... Terrapin>PITB>UJB>Drums>Wheel>China Doll>Playing reprise..... That just speaks for itself right there. The harmonies on this uncle john, mickey's cowbell, Jerry's angelic soloing, the rage and might of the jam section, it's all just impeccable.... chefs kiss version
Bird Song

What a stellar version of this. Veneta is more jammed out i would say but this "BAM" will knock you over. The way Lesh plays that bass just kills me..... a master.
