Morning Dew
Oct. 12, 1984
Augusta Civic Center

back again for a show that I'd put with 7/19/89 as 80's shows i would put in my desert island choices. setlist exclusively bangs and explodes in this seminal nuclear storm morning dew. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FZg8dQBMa8 Oh to be on the bus in the mid-80's and be a part of this religious revival!!! Jerry spares no expense in exorcising us of evil spirits, imbuing our very musical consciousnesses with multi-dimensional goodness on this ascendant, thunderous version. Jerry is slumped over and looking rather ragged but this almost adds to his being entirely locked into some other-ly, yet always encouraging and inclusive, lead guitar zone. particularly the Jackaroe->All over now->Cumberland->TMNS set 1 heater demonstrates this quality of this 10/10 show. face-stealing full force, semantic words for the riveting, physical cycles of emotion Mornin' Dew brings somewhere within the layers of sound worlds emerging from the stacks.
