After an unforgettable Wharf we're launched straight into the universe of Wake of the Flood, with Phil filling in as was customary on this late 73 tour, another gig whose beauty i'm recalling now is the Ok city fairgrounds one. The lyrics on this feel ice-cold, clear and lucid. "What's the point of calling shots, the cue ain't straight in line" really landed. And Keith's slide at the A major "orgasm jam" as i sometimes call it, is a peak rock piano moment!! The piano "slide" down only works if you do it once!
