Train rippin' down the hot coals of the 1973 track.

Drums

Can't believe I'm submitting this. Long and fun drum circle that's notable because our Jer Bear whips out a steel pan and joins in.

Jerry tearing the standards book asunder with this elegant poetic brilliance

Big River
Oct. 31, 1990
Wembley Arena

For a few minutes wembley in '90 becomes the fillmore in the summer of 1970, the way the Dead just slide into a no-nonsense Big River. Shivers

Loose Lucy

Smokin' and refined version of this deep cut, on "All Hallow's Eve" as a chap might say

Sunrise

Broome County Arena

its a show like this from "Terrapin Station" tour that makes me wish Donna had better monitoring or in-ear, something, to keep up with everyone else in turms of amplification. This is a really nice building type of thing, pretty stuff in 77.
Samson and Delilah

Wow, 16 votes. Stellar and skyrocketing prime 77. Gotta love the vibe of that Betty Board also.
Big Railroad Blues
Sept. 21, 1972
The Spectrum

Probably my favorite one of these, menacingly burnin'. 36 is really one of my favorite Dick's Picks, the Spectrum is always a special spot, and you can't go wrong with these 72 selections, there are many ridiculously great versions on this album. Worth multiple listens.
The Music Never Stopped

Broome County Arena

Membrane crazy soloing, and heady improvisation, on this lumberjack, seminal 1977 TMNS!!!!!!!!! The energy and will of the crew can't lose, ever!!!!!!1
