Seriously 1of the best examples of the time shift section and an all around major heavy duty A&A!

Shakedown Street

Marin County Veterans Auditorium

WTF! Cliche yes but this Shakedown should've been here already. The SBD has Jerry so buried it's a crime, AUD link in cmts you'll see what I mean.

Sugaree
Oct. 17, 1983
Olympic Center

It's widely known that Jerry was on pure Adrenachrome for this show, donated by Cambodians. (it doesn't kill you to get milked for adrenachrome)
St. Stephen
Aug. 24, 1968
Shrine Auditorium

This version is the 1st Stephen I ever heard and although there are so many versions with deeper middle jamming, no other Stephen takes off with such wild abandon from the get go, and the cool part when they stop after "one man gathers what another man spills" and you can hear Bob say "I want you to know that's how it is" (Jerry) 'cough A-hem...just so badass... This is an insane show, just primal early Dead..
Foolish Heart
Dec. 28, 1991
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

This version has a main solo in the middle, unlike any other Foolish Heart I've heard, just crazy and dreamy psychedelic...
Victim Or The Crime
Aug. 1, 1994
The Palace

Seriously, this Victim should be closer to the top. It was Jerry's B-day and a Victim>Scarlet>Fire as a present to all, every second of the 3 songs is pure magic. Not well known because it was just AUD only until a SBD of the 2nd set came out a year or 2 ago. Check it out...
Let It Grow
Nov. 4, 1977
Cotterell Gym - Colgate University

Well, Let it Grow did not 'peak' in the fall of 77 in my opinion, many great ones in 78, and peppered in throughout the 80's and then 89-91, it had it's modern makeover surge...I.E. the Without a Net Version! 3/14/90 Cap Center. This Cotteral let it grow was beyond spectacular though...
