Pretty darn perfect. Mellow funkiness of 76 with 77 precision.

Contains a cool Samson and Delilah jam with each member (incl. Vince) contributing equally. Everyone is on.

Jerry is clearly in the mood to rock out in this show, and this song benefits from it. Raw. Great solos. Very funky.

Band bristles with restrained energy. Jerry's voice is scratchy and perfect. Great harmony on the chorus.

Heartfelt, and as far as I can tell this was the closest he ever got to nailing all the lyrics. 10/1/94 has a better solo, but it's hard to argue with the power of this version.

I actually like Vince on the ending jam here. Check out Jerry's guitar work on the end of 3/11.
Sugar Magnolia

Felt Forum - Madison Square Garden

Flawless, almost single-ish. Bobby nails it, and even the exuberant Phil bits are great. Sweet fat guitar sound. Precedes Dark Star, which is neat.

I don't disagree with the top picks, but this one is special. Phil and Keith in particular are in a unique place. Great drums this whole show, too.
