They really push down on the 10/4 melodic form here, giving it a "The Main Ten" feel lost soon after. KG's 1st month is full of transition Playin's.

Shows that the Dead could turn any song they wanted to into vast sonic explorations of their own musical cosmos. I don't say "favourite" or "best", because I can't define these terms), but damn though it's one sweet nice ride, this one.
