Always preferred the fast ones, but listening to Jerry rip up the solos here and it makes sense. Killer version here (with a rude AUD patch though).

Has a crisp and tight disco shuffle prefiguring the '77 sound. Jerry's solo fills are precise and brilliant. Donna's harmonies are as sweet as ever.

They hit this show opener with some gusto - one of the reasons why it was always my favorite when they opened with it. I'm not sure if it's tape speed wobble or some tuning issues at first, but they seem to sort out the sound by the end.

Mid-tempo with a bounce and soft-shoe, but doesn't really lift off until the out-chorus. Clean and pristine... the '77 sound starts to really coalesce just about here.

Perfect party topper. Glyn's right about this one. I always felt that they closed with U.S. Blues when they knew they'd just thrown a good party. Closing out an epic three-show spot at Winterland with this as the double encore means to me that they'd had a great time too.
