Great harp solo, solid smoldering jam. Pig's voice is brilliant.

A sweet and subtle acoustic gem, with some of the NRPS boys.

So deep. The crowd interaction is brilliant, and Pig just scoops everyone right up. The AUD funkiness just adds that extra depth.

One of the midnight shows that confuse historians, but one of the sweet-harmony Candymans that just slay me. No confusion there.

Distinctly slower groove than others, like they were trying something new with it. Does it work? Not sure, but an interesting take on it.

Beautiful harmonies. Some of the New Riders were there for it.

Good call: I'm much more of a '60s and '70s Head, but this show just bursts out. I always loved this song when I got to hear it in concert, so I'm happy to see it up here - on the same day that I'm listening to this concert for the first time in years. Reminds me why I loved the Dead during Brent's time, too.

Top choice grade A. Tight and right. I keep coming back when I need my '77 fix. May also be the single most insane show opener ever.

Help us C. Miller! This show deserves a cleanup! Oops (later the same day), I mean THANK YOU, Charlie Miller. Your cleanup is much appreciated. Skip the other version heads.
