Totally overlooked show, but blazing hot and extraordinary jams. Everything here that make '73 what it is.

Playing down to their last allowed second, the boys squeeze a tight (top-40 levels) hard rockin' version. Killer end to a great little show.

Kicks ass. I'm not so familiar with '82, but this one convinces me to explore a bit deeper. Lovely.
Morning Dew

McGaw Memorial Hall - Northwestern University

Nothing in this incomplete 2nd Set should be missed. Nov. '73 is a great place to start anyone on the Dead and it's a pity this show's not complete. This this Dew is an immaculate beautyand it's part of an insane Dew>PITB>UJB>PITB megajam.
Dark Star

Kiel Auditorium

Starts really pretty, then gets even smoother as it lifts into the outer atmosphere. Before you know it you're hitting light speed before one of the most beautiful MLB jams of all time - it really feels like the sound of an out-of-body experience. Just so good, just exactly perfect.

Correction? Date on Setlist Program is 10 July '69. Didn't realize this was a double post until too late.
