Sweet rocker here.

High energy, and remarkable that they could pull it off after an hour of continuous jamming. Great show all round.

In spite of equipment stalls the set really takes off here. Great Miller mix showcases Bobby in the left channel. Beautiful version.

Keith is high in the mix and it's just brilliant. The NFA was a bit sloppy, but they nail the GDTRFB and the outro.

Fast and loose, with great Keith barrelhouse fills. Jerry doesn't want to quit. Good fun.

Sweet, mellow groove.

The drumming in TOO is some of the most powerful tribal ensemble-playing by the Dead ever. Oh, and the Cryptical outro just blows me away - getting heavier and hotter until it melts into Potato.

Might just like this one as much or more as 12.10.68. Guess I'll have to listen to both of 'em again....

Be cool <getinmyslice>, there's plenty of dead to go around and it's nice to see how different folks like different versions. The site can be just for "favorites" if you want, or also for interesting versions, historically important ones, curiousities, great jams that aren't the best but still good, forgotten shows, etc. It's a big dead world, friend.

Best Cryptical ever? The reprise is just insane. The OO is hyper ballistic too. A great '68 all '68 lovers need.
