Jerry leans into it with a jaw-tighteningly crisp and high-voltage tone for a killer solo, though the group is a bit loose. Pigpen sounds amazing.

Poor sound quality midway through, but its the first '76 set since the hiatus that goes off-the-rails weird, evoking the Wall of Sound era. Hot stuff.

Super fine yes, but chilled out? I'm not so sure... By '74 standards the whole year is chilled out, but this SB grooves hard and goes deep in for over 10 minutes. One of the best stand alone versions, for sure.

Can't update the version that I submitted, but I can recommend that you heads get yer asses over to July 13, 1976 and give this one a spin. It has one of the tightest, musically coherent and spotless drum solos in LIG that I know, and the whole thing just lights everything around it on chemical fire.

Peggy-O doesn't usually strut or swagger, but this one does. There's a bit more oomph to it, even at the laid-back tempo of the era. Seems like Billy and Mickey kick it forward, adding a back-beat shuffle that serves the song nicely.
