Fox Theater
Smoking 85 version from a grate show!

Wharf Rat
Sept. 4, 1983
Park West Ski Resort
HOT version, outro is a bit fast, in keeping with the entire era. But Jerry's leads are on fire, sounds straight outta 74

Bird Song

Wembley Arena
Beautiful version from Bruce's first full run

Not Fade Away
Nov. 15, 1971
The Austin Municipal Auditorium
This is awesome but sorry, there is nothing good about Bobby's screaming at the end. Almost ruins the whole thing for me (and he does the same damn thing on the otherwise stellar 10/31/71 version). Absent the caterwauling, this would be tops.
Althea
Oct. 19, 1981
Sports Palace
great version -- flawlessly executed and perfect tempo!
He's Gone
Sept. 3, 1977
Raceway Park
This is really nice -- great middle jam and great outro jam. I'm still partial to the late 72 and all of 1973 for this song (seriously, Kezar should be tops). But this one may be the best post-73 version.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Sept. 21, 1972
The Spectrum
Just nuts how freaking well every song at this show is played!
Dark Star
Sept. 21, 1972
The Spectrum
Top 5 version, not better than veneta or Fillmore east, but not lesser by any means. What's amazing about this whole show is just how freaking well every single song is played -- maybe the best front to back show of 72 (even if the pitb and bird song from veneta are a hair better).
