Loser
Jan. 10, 1979

Last ever use of the "Sweet Suzie" line...I think. Subdued, but there. Nice version taboot.

Samson and Delilah

Cow Palace
odd spacy intro. a tad slower and much less predecitable than latter era versions. smooth as 18 y/o scotch.

Wharf Rat
Nov. 14, 1971
Texas Christian University
The Ace is strong with this one.
Crazy Fingers
June 22, 1976
Tower Theatre
Looping, relaxed yet intricate 76 version that, as indicated, melts into a lovely Comes a Time. Not exactly high-energy, but it's not all unicorns and rainbows either. The jam has a nice little edge to it...almost like a really mellow Other One.
Cold Rain and Snow
Dec. 26, 1979
Oakland Auditorium
Bobby is all OVER this one doing Bobby stuff on the guitar, and I mean that in the best possible way. Outstanding.
St. Stephen
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon
First time I heard this St. Stephen emerge from the ether I jumped out of my chair...the grace of 77 mixed with the big, hairy rock-and-roll balls of 78.
West L.A. Fadeaway
July 19, 1989
