With a Jerry riff here and Jerry riff there, everywhere a Jerry riff-riff. This intro has an Allman swing.

Not Fade Away
Dec. 9, 1971
Fox Theatre

Sad to see this had only 1 vote - I hope it gets heard and then given its due.. rollicking is the right descriptor...'71 NFA's had some special sauce. The GDTRFB is sweet justice as well - they hit overdrive smoothly NFA reprise is nice strong gut punch too +1 and more if I could... quality '71 action here.

Sweet Lincoln's mullet! Looks like I already bumped this sometime I dunno when before - required listening here.
Sugar Magnolia
Oct. 19, 1981
Sports Palace

I feel like the jam in Sugar Mags is one of their purest rock and roll song expressions - sure they played it a million times but when it was on - it was ON - no matter the era when Jer decided to flip the boogie switch and Bobby was screaming his shorts off - GAME OVER - just listened to Dallas 11/24/72 and that's a MOFO ... just a different styled one than this but both gotz the same roots. I love it when Jer soars over that Sugar Mags engine.....
