Loose and loud - garage band city here! Tempo all over the road but nice and fast for the jam.

The Spectrum

Big time bluesy show so Brent's train song fits into the night Jerry's vox is burnt but good energy this night.

Promised Land

The Spectrum

Brent wakes everybody up with his B3 and then Jerr gets all sprightly on the jam - nice later one.

Jerry does some sweet bending and carving on this one - the band is in step on this one.

Jack Straw

Evans Field House, Northern Illinois University

Rips hard and has a raunchy edge with DJ's excellent backup work. There a gazillion Jack Straws but this deserves a listen.

Jerry comes out and pounds the crowd to dust - sheesh.

That 10/29/77 rings a bell - I know I've heard it but can't recall it specifically - gonna go check it on your recommend Grendel. If it's anything like this one I am sure I will dig it.
The Other One
April 24, 1984
Veterans' Memorial Coliseum

'84 is underappreciated in my book too and this one is so damn darkly atmospheric and just a cool journey - Weir's work is especially interesting to me here all the way to the end. While not '84 check out 4/6/82 for a quick but FIERCE O1. that does not overstay it's welcome but gets to the point for the bash.
Morning Dew

The Sportatorium

Massive and worthy of many more votes - check it and you will see.
