I can only think that this one is so low because folks haven't checked it out? Fast, precise and delicate - just another special treat served up in the year of the Dead '77. While I really dig the '74 action of Freedom Hall and Iowa and Winterland, this take is worthy of top 10 at least - if only it were heard. Resplendent is right.

If you gotta half an hour to burn this one will show you some peak power action. Everyone represents here wonderfully in a super no hurry fashion that stretches out smoothly and builds into sweet bursts of perfection - just freakin wow. Deserves attention.

CC - Smoked out the speakers in my ride with this one this afternoon -- 1st version I ever heard of this song so many roads ago and after many years still oh so fine. IMO should be way up on this hear list. Rough and tumble rock'n'roll. Check the 4/13/71 and tell me what ya think of that one.
