Morning Dew
April 12, 1969
Student Union Ballroom, U. Utah

Like a hot mess that can go mental at any minute - and sometimes do - 69 Dews are bizarrely addictve.

Deserves a listen...wait for Jerry's comment at the end.

Eyes Of The World

Warfield Theater

Not toooo fast but QUICK - Jer gets nicely strummy on the 1st bridge and they're off to the races - well paced without a gazillion notes (but plenty)

Cobo Arena

Wonderful with Jerry, Bobby and Donna all soaring together and separately on this version. Beautiful.

Swampy and JG’s second pass on the first solo is just riiiight.

University of Iowa

This Deal just KILLS stylistically...JG high quality vox over a jook joint smokey pace with two wicked strat attacks... this is an early humdinger!
The Other One
Feb. 5, 1969
Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium

Relentless attack that is exhausting in the best way possible. When you need an Other One to get you there but don’t have 30mins to burn (although let me stress there is nothing wrong with that) Might be one of the best OO’s you’ve never heard and dag-gum it this rips like audio brown- brown. If you survive -the journey to Caution is well worth it. The Eleven is blistering and the Caution is sonic brutality. Killer show to dig into.
The Other One
Nov. 14, 1971
Texas Christian University

‘71 is an all round killer year. This tune never failed to deliver whatever inner reflection the band was transmitting much the same as PITB would as well thru the years. But for my dollars mostly ‘72 back to origins is where the devil’s work was best done.
