Jer + SG x 1969 = wild flaming hot licks that lead to off kilter dissonant cronking into cleansing fanning before the car crash ending.

Encore that the whole band jumps on with Jerry crooning his way thru it nicely.

This is another ‘72 Sugar Mag humdinger for sure. Great rec DS. One of my favs is Dallas a few nights later that has some sort of x-factor hold over me. This has that same DNA ...might be better? Hmm I dunno but this is one of my favorite shows so that’d be fine by me. I really dig the ‘72 fall tour.

Whole band is jazz cattin’ the shit out of this unlike any other one (ha) I’ve heard. This take is flat out groovy as fuck - not bananas at 120mph on stamps but more like 72mph on a hash buzz. Everyone showcases and Bobby’s rhythm interlude is super cool. So worth the ride!! Really cool musical conversations happening this whole show ( see China>Rider, Bird Song, PITB & He’s Gone in particular) altho I think the Candyman, Ramblin’ and Stella are both notable listens for “standard” structured songs as well.

One of a kind sounding - notable for JG's determined solo'ing with some periodic flares and overall blues busting. Worth a spin.
