Hot damn - Jer shoots out the lights with a steamy heady jam then the SSDD to close is it out is perfection. Deserves a listen.

Sweet Box where they keep the tempo rolling -Phil's vox in fine form and Jer throws out all the right accents. DJ sounds nice cooing in as well.

Stagger Lee
Dec. 17, 1978
Fox Theatre

Crack - I am always looking for a great Stagger Lee which is a tune that can be a winner or fail miserably. Sorry can't tag this one with a thumbs up - wanted too - maybe it's the recording but this pace kills me - I would like to hear what you think of 12/28/78 same vintage and I think a great quality take on this sketchy number.

My original description does not do this take justice - I would like to amend it to: Really Jerry? Really ???!!!

Welcome to the looney bin or the slaughterhouse...depending on how you look at things. I suggest headphones for full effect of this auditory windowpane. Jerry makes pass after pass at your head with his scythe. dark, dark, dark.

Hey Darkstar I listened to that Alligator again and yeah I think I faintly hear Mountain Jam too but more at the 7-10min mark - very Duanesque anyway...
