Classic, bouncy good time opener for this WOS show to start set 2. Great Jerry solo, but listen for Keith too.

Rip roaring out of Uncle John's Band and after a high octane 2nd set, how else to finish?

Best of the Fillmore East run,IMO. Sharp and clean guitar work, purposeful but still relaxed in the best early Deal tradition

1970, this is new and the boys sound so full of energy and excitement. The whole show has just been reseeded on IA, worth a listen.

All about Keith's fine piano work. Possibly the best in contention with 14/4/72
Bird Song

Sacramento Memorial Auditorium

The Bird Songs from this show , the nights at Berkeley through to Veneta, each one a priceless gem. They need more listening and I'm sure more of you would upvote these shows

First ever. Love this and the following night. When Jerry sang so sweet.

The JAM is pure sweet jammy goodness. Lovely slide work. An all round good Truckin'.
Looks Like Rain

Winterland Arena

I often skip this song, but as I was downloading the show, gave it a listen. This is a very lovely version. What I like about this whole show is the 1976 quality vocals of Bobby and Donna- staying within their range, not screeching. Go check out the Sugar mag from this show.
