One of the better Box of Rain,well sung nicely played. Cos the vocals are so important to this song I would wish others to hear it and vote it up.

Uncle John's Band
Sept. 20, 1970
Fillmore East

IMO acoustic versions of this song are the best(maybe cos in 1970,the boys singing was at its best,and this song really does need to be sung well.)
Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
Dec. 27, 1977
Winterland Arena

not my favourite combos pair of songs, but this time it's well worth the listen
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 27, 1977
Winterland Arena

Grendel- there's your double digit! 10 up votes is not nearly enough for this super combo. This whole show is worth a listen. there's a fine Truckin',a high energy well jammed Wharf Rat and a mental Around and Around encore.
Hurts Me Too

listening again. I think that this is the very best version of a song I love.

Deal is a bell weather song IMO. If I see it on a show, I listen to it first. If it is tight(post 1977, or loose and swinging pre 77) and inventive solos then ,usually, the rest of the show also has that special sparkle of a truly great show.
