Donna and Bobby really sing it-NO screeching. Their singing throughout this June 76 run is just fine. For all you Donna haters, listen to this

Comes A Time

Strand Lyceum

Solid, well sung, nice little solo, and it is so sweet after the huge UJB>Wharf Rat>DS>Sugar Mag that comes before it. It just fits in so well.

Ship of Fools

Portland Memorial Coliseum

A good SOF indeed. This is one of those songs which need Jerry's voice to be in good order which is what lets down the 1978 SOF's onwards. even May 9 he is starting to strain a bit.
Deal

Grugahalle

If anyone doubts the greatness of Jerry and his top guitarist status, just play them this. Clear film and close up of Jerry's playing, especially during the 2nd solo. A chance to see the master in action
Mind Left Body Jam
June 28, 1974
Boston Garden

Listening today(28/6/2017)to the whole 2nd set, but PLEASE please please, for your own well being take the 40 or so minutes to listen to this MLB into my own favourite US Blues ever. This is the whole band in sync, playing beautifully, hauntingly,GODDAM brilliantly.

One of the top 3 Deal's from '74. Bright ,tight guitar good support from the boys.
The Eleven

Dream Bowl

This show is perfection, from the opening of Dupree's Diamond Blues through a superb Mountains of the Moon>DS>TOO. I'm beginning to understand those old Deadheads who reckon it all went downhill after the 1960's! (only joking. I rate them right up until 1978)
