An overlooked version because of the famous movie version from the 19th October, but good and on the money.

Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
April 29, 1977
The Palladium

Just listening to this and downloading the whole show. What a way to start. This H>S>F needs more listens and a lot more up votes. 29 minutes of bounce and bliss. 1977 Jerry on fire and the whole band roaring along behind.

Cosmic Charlie

Fillmore West

Just recently, I have discovered 1960's Dead! What a revelation ,so different from 1972-1978 which is my usual stomping ground. Love Cosmic Charlie.
Bird Song
Aug. 25, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

Carrion crow is ,as usual, spot on. The whole week running up to Venata has good Bird Songs(and good about everything else as well). This is an excellent B.S but whole show is superb.
