An overlooked version because of the famous movie version from the 19th October, but good and on the money.

They really groove on the outro vocals-no shrieking, just driving on and on. Not at the top but a VG 78 version

Cold Rain and Snow
Sept. 3, 1972
Folsom Field, University of Colorado

Just a run of pure magic. 45 years ago starting tomorrow with 2017. and 40 years since 1977- a year of great anniversary shows, if like me you try and listen to a show from that date. I think that there is only a partial soundboard for this show, but a certain Mr Miller could work his magic, I'm certain it would be almost as good.

Hofheinz Pavilion

A very good Deal from Fall 1972 a sound that I love. A superb show( well what's available) One can only wonder how good the 1st set must have been.

Olympia Theater

One of the best, great piano playing as well as jerry's slide and Pig's soulful singing.I prefer this to the night before and IMO only March 22/3/72: 11/5/72 and 24/5/72 are better.
