One of the better Box of Rain, well sung nicely played. Cos the vocals are so important to this song I would wish others to hear it and vote it up.

He's Gone

Yes. I've often felt that this is up there with the best...of 1972. I love this song so much, especially once they got the outro portion sussed and when they all got groany and old time religion type wailing. But this one is impossible to beat so i guess it is top 3 anyway. maybe. Oh God, my brain hurts.........
Might As Well

NO. If only she had always sung(or been allowed to )sing the way she does in these 1976 shows-Bobby as well. Very little shrieking and the songs rock all the better for it.
Dark Star
Sept. 27, 1972
Stanley Theatre

Too scary! I need to listen to this with some other experienced Deadheads(which I only know on the internet) and maybe not be straight listening to it either. Gets very weird and Phil sounds out the deepest darkest pulsing heart of a Dark Star. Ghostly noises from the other side of the stage-where are we? Are we alive still?? Thank God, Cumberland Blues-maybe I just fell asleep and had a dark dream?
