Pure mad mental, as we used to say in Scotland. WOW, they really just let rip. Good track to dance to if you need to work of some high energy

Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication

Music Hall

Great version from a really good show. I've been listening to a lot of 1976 shows whilst waiting for Dave's Picks Vol 18. I really have undervalued this year. More laid back , not the fire of 77 or 78, but the singing from them all is so good-especially Bob and Donna who don't shriek nearly so much(sometimes not at all) and how much better that is.

Harmonious singing,which really makes or breaks this song.

Donna and Bobby really sing on this. Listen to all of the Cassidy's from this June 76 run-fabulous. Normally I skip this song. Same as the Looks Like rains. If only they had stuck to singing how much better so many shows would be.
Promised Land

Usually this song is a bit of a filler, or to help get the sound set up-but here it closes off a first set that starts solid and keeps improving. By the time they get to Promised Land it rocks but smoothly-no screeching or forced playing. Keith is really on fire this whole show. Go listen to the 2nd set. You won't regret it.

Absolutely. Keith's playing in the whole run of June shows is very good. The whole 2nd set is sparkling.
