The rockin' opener to a really GREAT 1972 show-wish this show could get a formal Dead release.

High energy end to 1st set of a show which starts slow then just gets better and better

Yeah the 2nd solo is really good as is the jam. The best? No,but good. As I've said elsewhere, Deal is the one thing about the Dead that just got better and better But I love Keith's rolling piano licks on those 72-74 Deals.Ah well.

This whole show is superlative, but (to me anyway) unknown til I stumbled across it on The Archive-woo-hoo.I like these short and punchy Playin's. Often it's a song marred by getting lost in some aimless ramble or ruined by certain people shrieking!I also think that this New Year the 31/12/71 show could be the one to listen to. Another goody.

Slow and relentless. And Jerry's first solo sounds so different from the way he normally plays/sounds. This one is ,indeed, worth it-Go run and see.

Just really love these '71 versions-so powerful, really good singing and ,yeh, Phil's bass on this one....well,listen for yourself.

Just about near perfect! Tight, great, harmonious vocals,no flubbs and a relentless build up of energy(and like Europe '72 it has Keith and Pigpen)What's not to like.
