An overlooked version because of the famous movie version from the 19th October, but good and on the money.

They really groove on the outro vocals-no shrieking, just driving on and on. Not at the top but a VG 78 version

Dark Star
Feb. 22, 1969
Dream Bowl

This show is one of my all time favourites From start to end. It just flows in and out and around. Spacey, but never lost in space. This week in 1969 produces some amazing shows and very special Dark Stars. Each one a journey into your own inner space. No wonder we struggle to find our own "best ever" versions of D.S, let alone what might work for someone else. If you can, give this show a whirl. Dream away at the Dream Bowl.
How Long Blues

The Other One

This deserves to be so much higher. Jazz rock genius, Mr Keith Godchaux! With the DP's mix listen to his playing, not just on this but Truckin', He's Gone. Go run and see.!
