Even though it cuts out after 16mins, a really fine 1972 TOO. Worth 16 minutes of anyones time.

Although only part of set 2 seems to exist, great show. Clean, good energy, starting to get that fall 73 jazziness.

I mostly don't rat SOFs from any year other than 74,but this one is still as good as they get post break.

Just watching this on You Tube and it's so wonderful. Lovely to see Jerry well and in his prime, sweetly jamming with Donna. very jazzy, very sweet. Go run and see!
He's Gone
Sept. 28, 1972
Stanley Theatre

Can't be beat. I think it's really hard to judge the He's Gone from this period, Starting in the August shows, through September. even trying to pick the best of the 3 nights at the Stanley is impossible! Listen to them all. Phil's bass playing is remarkable. The outro jams all so yummy. I do love this song.

Great version from a very good show that lives in the shadow of the night before. Still a spectacular 3 night run at the Stanley Theatre in a year of brilliant shows, no brilliant TOURS!
