Box of Rain

One of the better Box of Rain, well sung nicely played. Cos the vocals are so important to this song I would wish others to hear it and vote it up.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 21, 1977
Lakeland Civic Center

I keep coming back to this one-better than Cornell. Possibly the best as both songs are flawless and well played(agree with Grendel-(s)He's usually spot on.

good ,I agree, but the night before really and truly is one of the best of all time versions.(That's just my opinion, ya understand!)

I really love this show and would have to say it's in the top 3.......for that WEEK!!!! 11/11/73;14/11/73:17/11/73:21/11/73 and then there's 9/11;10/11;23/11 and 25/11 as closely following. WOW!!!
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
May 22, 1977
The Sportatorium

Although the legendary show is May 8, no-one can really call any one of at least 10 shows in this run truly the best. However...this night is up there with 7/8/ and 9th. This is just one of the reasons why. Sometimes you get great Help other times it's the Franklin's or the Slipknot that sells this trilogy, but on this night it's all sooo gooooood. Just take 3 hours and listen to the whole show(cos Dick missed out some yummy songs) You will thank me for it if you do. God bless the Grateful Dead (and all of us who sail with them!)
U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)

Energy of April 12 1978 is great, but for real good time and coming, as has been said, out of a GREAT JAM and possibly one of the top 3 shows of 1974. It is that good.
