Box of Rain

One of the better Box of Rain, well sung nicely played. Cos the vocals are so important to this song I would wish others to hear it and vote it up.

I confess that I'm not usually a fan of much from the 80's-even GD.However, DEAL is an exception. Yes I love the 70's versions, but as a reviewer elsewhere says, they are [often] safe and staid. I agree. I get frustrated and think of how Jerry could have ripped it up as he did from the 76 tour->. Barton Hall is good but far from the best. Go to You tube and see this show. Jerry let's rip on this. Yowzer!

Really strong vocals from Jerry and a little fancy harmonizing on the side from Donna-lovely guitar work-hmmm,pleasant
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo

An absolute top 10 show from start to finish. One of Dick's great picks!

The next gig at Boston is even better!

Yup,I think that this one takes it too. For me the only really great S.O.F's are from 1974 when Keith gets that old time'y gospel flavour going and Jerry voice is still sweet and he nails the words, and even Bob and Donna's soulful Woah- woah's are just exactly perfect!
