He's Gone
May 13, 1973
Iowa State Fairgrounds

Glad you guys dig this one...I stumbled across it on archive in the TDIH section, and later played it for a friend, and it turned out to be a birthday show for him, unbeknownst to me at the time...for this reason and for quality reasons this one stands out. The whole set is really stunning to me, even by the Dead's standards. p.s. Yolker, I'd fight in the Weir Jort Army any day

Check this one out! I find it hard to believe I'm the only person that's in love with this...it's a go-to for me when I really need a pick-me-up that only the boys can provide
They Love Each Other

Row Jimmy
June 30, 1973
Universal Amphitheatre

THIS ONE has gone too long unnoticed, so I have no choice but to pimp my own submission. Please somebody tell me this is not the best Row Jimmy ever played, or tell me I'm crazy. Either is fine...just tell me something (EDIT: There are some better ones. This one is still top 5 easily I.m.o. 3.20.77, 8.4.76
