Jack Straw
May 7, 1979
Allan Kirby Field House

Brown Eyed Women

Everything is gold in this show, and this tune is particularly shiny

Row Jimmy

Slow groove...all parts are on point...so much tenderness and yet so much power

Truckin'
June 26, 1973
Seattle Center Coliseum
Swingin' and groovin'...Phil takes charge on forgotten first verse..Bob drops an f-bomb but seems to censor himself on "ain't it a shame" line. Funny

Scarlet Begonias
April 29, 1977
The Palladium
Right on...definitely takes an adjustment, but this set pays off big time...I sprung it on a deadhead friend, and he loved it. Definitely gives the "being there" feeling, peaking with the crowd and all that...
Shakedown Street
April 27, 1985
Frost Amphitheatre

Comes A Time
Dec. 4, 1971
Felt Forum, Madison Square Garden
Nothing like it...1971 is inimitable.
Dark Star
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

Jack Straw
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds
This one has to be higher...it's downright shameful...the pure psychedelia oozes out of every corner
