Egypt show - best 70s version. Closing 2 minutes of "Don't you let that Deal go down" coda is a raucous affair.

Uncle John's Band

From "Ladies and Gentlemen" Fantastic version, better than a dozen others I know from formally released shows and Dick's. Can't believe it's not here.

Sugar Magnolia

Best version: Tight, up-tempo, great mix, Bob's guitar, Bob's vocal, Jerry's solo, Keith's piano, harmony vocals, Bill's drum fill at 3:27

So good, it's like they ghosted it in. Check out the solo at 4:20....it doesn't get better than this.

Is this on an official release anywhere? How about the other one Grendel? Don't tell me the "best" is a crappy sounding tape. Lol just kidding of course but I would like a listen to the version that.is better than Ladies & Gentlemen from April '71, and the 2 from E72 4/17 & 5/24
Cumberland Blues
Nov. 15, 1971
The Austin Municipal Auditorium

Underrated. You want to check this out. IMHO this song is won or lost with Jerry's soloing. If the Bluegrass Lightning is in play, this tune soars. It soars here. Which is why I'm here. And then there's Keith. Not to be sidelined, he breaks out the Rag Time Express and runs you sown from the other direction. Caught between the Electrical Storm and the Freight Train, there's nothing a Dead Head can do but draw one from the Bong and accept his fate.
