Something about the heartfelt dedication Bobby makes (one of the few I can think of in their history) seems to bring out the best in Jerry. At the conclusion of this soulful version, it sounds like Jerry jumps on a racehorse and speeds off into the dark woods, leaving the rest of the band to race in after him, trying to keep up. One of the best jams of the 80s.
