This version is a raging BEAST! If you've never heard it, you're in for a treat.

There are so many great versions to choose from, but this one just has a rad exuberance all its own. You can almost see Jerry smiling away from the get-go. This first set also features great versions of FOTD, Bird Song, Esau (my fave of that one) and a ridiculously smoking Deal. Enjoy!

They're in a state of grace here. Powerful and perfect. Couldn't hit a bad note if they tried. Love it.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

War Memorial
I've always loved this version - a stunning, bold opener! That said, I have to vote for 6.9.77 When was the last time Garcia yelled "C'mon! I want you to roll away"?

My favorite stand alone version of Franklin's Tower. Reminds me how much I freaking love this band. Thank you forever, guys (and gal). :)
Playin' In The Band

Hofheinz Pavilion
I agree with the above reviewer that this one is almost too intense. It's exhausting - my teeth clench at times. It's like going down a roller coaster at 1000 miles an hour. I love Veneta as much as anyone, but this version from Hofheinz is in a class by itself. Just extraordinary.
