Hell in a Bucket
Sept. 21, 1993
Madison Square Garden

Pure power. Phil drives things as he did this entire MSG run. Jerry's guitar sound is caustic.

Samson and Delilah
Sept. 20, 1993
Madison Square Garden

Jer is showing off his new guitar and that raw sound it can make. Upbeat night with the boys clearly anticipating Edie's visit.

Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again
June 20, 1988
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Rowdy version. Bobby's singing was very animated this Alpine run.

Not Fade Away
Sept. 3, 1977
Raceway Park

I saw Jer last night and he explained that what he was trying to do here was draw a musical picture of every star in the Milky Way, while Phil executed what we agreed to call the "Breastroke Shuffle". True story.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad

Alpine Valley Music Theatre

The fun that Jerry was having here was uplifting, and can even move you on the video. Incredible stuff.

There's this one and then all others.
I Know You Rider
July 17, 1989
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Jerry's shredding just before the closing vocals is ridiculous. If you would like to introduce someone to the GD, sit them down in front of this China/Rider on YouTube with good headphones on.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
July 17, 1989
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Like all other tunes, this is as different as the band was from 20, 15, 10 years earlier. But the power and energy flowing outward from all 6 of them for this was incredible. Imagine if these sounds would have been the output in 1972 or 1974? People would have been hospitalized. As stated ^^^, when in doubt, revisit the video footage.
