I disagree. I don't think this slow tempo is right for this song. I want a little funky rock & roll ditty - not some snail's pace bar tune. You can't blame the age of the people voting for 3-14-90 - there is something different happening there. You can feel this emotional outburst coming from Jerry when he belts out his "Thank you"s and his "For a real good time". You can tell he's quivering with passion and that the song is a heart-felt tune of appreciation.
