It sounds like Jerry wants to kill the song 3 times, but Bob pushes for more.

Sugar Magnolia

Chrisler Arena

Get your headphones, because this is a real treat. When they get to the pre-SSDD jam, you can actually hear everybody clearly. You can even go - whoah - that's Billy on the left and Mickey on the right. It's actually a mentally draining experience, listening to 6 different musicians playing one piece of music at the same time. On almost every recording, someone is louder than someone else and you might have to strain to hear everybody, but hear you take it all in. Wonderful soundboard.

Jerry's jam during the first instrumental break does stop and continues all the way through the second verse. He usually drops that boogie and picks up something else.

There are two instrumental breaks, with Jerry just going crazy. This is one of the best versions I have ever heard. Amazed that nobody has posted it yet.

Aggressive drumming. High energy. Great pre-SSDD jam.

Most copies are clipped. It's not a great recording, but it's complete. https://archive.org/details/gd1980-09-27.nak300.walker-scotton.miller.89006.sbeok.flac16/gd80-09-27d1t02.flac
