Knockin' On Heaven's Door

Madison Square Garden

The drums, Jerry’s voice, and his guitar. Wow this is emotional. It sounds so beautiful.

Really cool under the radar. Neville Bros percussion, and huge crowd chant during the encore break. Some great moments in here!

Dark Star

Greek Theatre, U. Of California

I cannot imagine what it would have felt like to be in that audience! Encore Dark Star breakout.
St. Stephen
Jan. 18, 1969
CBS Studios in West Hollywood

Short but AWESOME. Bobby's scream after the first verse says it all. Love being able to watch the boys do their thing in '69. Something was truly in the coffee that night.

Truckin'
March 31, 1973
War Memorial

Bring this one up! The energy out of the He's Gone is special (You can still hear the mourning of Pigpen in the "nothing's gonna bring him back"); plus the crowd roar at "Truckin Up to Buffalo" gets me EVERY time. Must hear!
Cassidy
July 6, 1995
Riverport Amphitheatre

They REALLY stick the landing, vocals are tight. Last one ever; Fare Thee Well.
