Heavens! It took a Dave's Picks to get this on the board! Soft, seductive, dark, and pretty much perfectly realized. Guitar break: shit yeah.

Estimated Prophet

Winterland Arena

Bold, sharp, confident version with plenty of 1977 squoosh. This version has that great '77 restraint with Garcia speaking in MuTron tongues.

Attention. To. Detail. - ESP Weir. Not the world's greatest recording, but the band is bubbly & effortless.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Yale Bowl, Yale University

Listened to this on a big PA outside over the summer and it's so alive, athletic, and filled with beautiful instrumental cross-talk. Improv!

Playin' In The Band
Nov. 15, 1972
Oklahoma City Music Hall

If you like the electric guitar, this is a highlight. Hear how two great and entirely different guitar players work off each other. Oh yeah - and the rest of the group is right up there in the rarified air. This rendition excels completely - not a surprise coming from this tour.
The Other One
July 17, 1976
Orpheum Theatre

Proves that the group could have a light touch and swing w/two drummers. Garcia's firefly guitar sets the tone, however. Another sweet '76 Other One in the bank.
Brown Eyed Women
June 10, 1976
Boston Music Hall

A beautiful, smooth version. Godchaux's accent are dope. Garcia's silvery guitar break is sublime.
