ATOMIC! Garcia's subversive wah work only makes the area less safe for the public.

Searing version - groovy false start, then Garcia soars like an acrobat. Plug in!

CRUSH. Hard to believe they brought this intensity and dynamic precision all the time then, but they did! Ace!

Unknown Genre - iTunes. Kreutzmann drives this hovercraft - as he seems to in all of the great Berthas of this time. Look out for the guitars.

You a Caps fan, too? Wild game! And a wild show.
The Other One

Great American Music Hall

Overlook this show at yr peril - this fiery Other One is just another unique flavor of some top sleeve Dead. For all the great stuff in this show, this is a high point.

Don't think is really short -- right in line for DS durations at that time. They started to get longer (N or 20 min) a couple of weeks later. This variety is dense - the SG crunching away. Effortlessly graceful.

Another killer re-visit! Garcia's obviously the Cap'n here - and the group grants his every whim. I think I heard Lesh go, "My liege . . ." Rightfully.

Lesh leads the way with the redwood. You got that - most things just have a way of falling into place. But the whole group is in high-test form.
