Exquisite. Haven't really dug into this one before & I was missing such a gem! The second break does get contentious and tense. Awesome. Smooth as a daffodil's teddy bear. Godchaux in the third break is amazing. Telepathy.

Q_76 - My 1st show was actually 3/21/85. I saw some wonderful shows that year. Knowing that the GD's peak years preceded 1985 never dampened my excitement when I walked onto the floor of an arena and saw the stage set-up and all of the tapers behind the soundboard. I saw, I think, 35 shows or so and had a groovy time at most of them. Some moments stood out and I'm still glad I experienced them in-person. I don't listen to most of the shows I attended (both nights of Merriweather are an exception), but that's totally OK with me.
